For about one year my fridge was not making ice and no water was getting into the freezer although there was water in the door. The icemaker is not hot and nothing blocks it, and I ignored this problem.

Now, the temperature in both the fridge and freezer is about 7 to 10 degrees higher than 0 or 37. In the back of the fridge it says to replace the motherboard with WR55x10156 only, although I have seen posts saying that WR49x10152 is the same ??? Can you please clarify if in fact they are the same and if the connectors are the same. One of the posts I have seen indicated that there were two ways of connecting the new board depending if the model has a "current source" board connected to the mainboard ... What does this mean and how can I find out ?

Can the motherboard fix both problems with the ice maker and especially the higher than normal temperature ?

The fan next to the compressor is running and also the compressor is running. I have executed the quick test (hold all the temperature pads pressed for three seconds) and everything passed except test 0 4 which failed : some communication error.

Everything except the ice maker and higher than normal temperature seem to operate normaly.
