I recently replaced the pump on this bad boy because the bearings were bad. Replaced the belt at the same time (38.5") for insurance. It worked good for a while but now doesn't empty. If I move the timer back to spin it will work. Have seen similar problems described and narrowed it down to the timer. (per advice given others). My question is , there is an adjustment on the back of the timer with alignment mark (blue sharpie?) that don't line up. I'm assuming this mark was factory. What does the adjustment do and should I mess with it or just buy a new timer?

There is no adjustment on the timer. If you order the part from this site and it does not fix the problem you may be able to return it for a full refund. See the returns policy.
