I have an ice maker in my side-by-side refrigerator (Whirlpool ED25QFXHW00) that I have had constant issues with. I have replaced the whole ice maker once and have replaced numerous parts in this second ice maker.

Parts I have had to replace (the ones I know for sure) are the ice deflector (AP2936521) and the drum (AP3109184). Both of these parts have been replaced multiple times. Each time a piece of the part breaks off in the ice as it is being dispensed. Most recently I have replaced the ice deflector.

My ice maker is always extremely noisy when dispensing and even though I keep it on cubed mos tof my ice comes out in smaller pieces like it is being crushed (sounds like it is crushing it as well).

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
