Yesterday our Maytag Quiet Series 200 dishwasher (model MDBTT50AWW) stopped working. The LEDs don't light up and the touch controls do respond. My wife said that in the last week or so she has seen all the LEDs blinking in unison but then the dishwasher worked after a few attempts.

I found similar threads in the forum such as this one:

I saw Denman's response to someone else with a Quiet Series 200 which includes a link that listed electrical diagnostics. (Thanks!)
http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16026393.pdf

I removed the flexcable connection at the PWB and tried cleaning the surface with a pencil and reattaching. No change. I used a DMM with tiny clips to try to see if I could see 10K on any of the switch combinations mentioned in the diagnostics. I could not get any readings other than "open".

I verified that 120VAC is reaching the PWB.

I also tested the load readings measured ohms (expected values):
Heater 15.8 (16)
Wash Motor 4.2 (3 to 4)
Drain Motor 25.8 (25)
Vent Wax Motor 1.1k (1.2k)
Dispenser Wax Motor 2.2k (2k)
Water Valve 1.1k (1.1k)

These all seemed relatively close.

So my questions are:
1) Did I miss anything important with my troubleshooting?
2) Are the blinking lights a symptom of a failing controller? Which is now probably dead?
3) Am I also going to need to replace my touch pad or if I am not testing it correctly? It is surprising to me that all of the keypad would suddenly go bad.
