Does anyone know if the cam is the problem or the timer. I feel that it may be the cam, because you can set the timer at any location and the same thing happen. You have to move door lever to open position to stop dishwasher. Can anyone advise how to fix

Sounds like the timer contacts that open to shut the unit off are welded together.
