When we run our dishwasher afterward the detergent soap pod is still in the dispenser. The dispenser door is open after the wash but the pod is still there. Is there something wrong with the dispenser motor or timer? The door latch works fine, and when the wash cyle is done the door is open (although the pod has not been used) any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Lydia,

Are the dishes inside the dishwasher wet in the middle of the cycle? Open the door during the wash cycle and check the water level and how the spray arm is spinning. Post the results.

Hi Gene,

Thank you for responding. After I posted the question and reading through the forms I decided to try a wash cycle one more time, I noticed that the latch on the dispenser was a little stuck so I fiddled with it so to speak so it opened more easily (I feel like I may have dislodged something not sure) and started the wash again. I just opened it now mid cycle water is spraying, dishes are wet, and the dispenser is open with pod already used, so I think the issue is solved for now. Not sure what really happened, thank you for your prompt reply.

Lydia

You are welcome Lydia,

Hopefully you did fix it. Good luck with your dishwasher.

Gene.
