Washer - auger does not spin, but feels like there is a pin that is connected to a shaft, at times it seems like the auger wants to catch on to something cause it will move. If it is a pin that broke, how do you replace it.

Dryer - 1st - timer on dryer ticks continueously, does not shut off. 2nd - runs for periods of time but does not dry off cloth completely, yes it is heating up well. 3rd - last time I ran the dryer it got so hot that is smell like something was burning, I noticed that the back part of the drum had a burned spot, the thermofuse did not work to shut of the heat. What should I look for.

Washer - most likely the problem is a bad agitator cam dogs, but we need the complete model number.

Dryer - most likely the problem is a clogged exhaust line and/or air ducts inside the dryer.
