The water dispenser on my GE refrigerator leaks slowly so i've had to turn off the water to the refrigerator...

i think the problem is the water dispenser valve but I'm just looking for a little reassurance on that.

also i think I've located the valve in the bottom left back of the refrigerator but I'm also not positive of that either since the guy i talked to from GE over the phone seemed to think if would be closer to the actual dispenser.

anyone have any other ideas about what the problem might be? or can anyone back up my theory that its the water dispenser valve?

Most likely the problem is a bad water inlet valve and you located it in the right place. It's shown as #800 on the diagram.
