I am preparing to convert a Maytag LSG7804AAE dryer to LP from Nat Gas, using conversion kit #AP4037090. Would appreciate tips from anybody experienced with this process.

Local appliance dealer wants $300 to do this, so it's gonna have to be DIY.

While not experienced with dryer conversions, I have done a stove (successfully), and am familiar with gas lines, safety concerns, etc from marine systems. What I am concerned about is anything in particular I may not know to look out for, or what may not be covered by the instructions that come with the conversion kit. I haven't received the kit yet, and don't know how thorough the instructions are.

I do not think you need anything else besides the included instructions.
