My dryer will stop heating after 10-20 minutes of run time. You can then let it sit for a few minutes and then restart and it runs fine? Anyone have any idea. Maybe a intermittent high limit fuse problem?

Maybe a intermittent high limit fuse problem? I have an issue with a Whirpool that it will fire up, then heat goes off and won't start again until it cools down. Looking at the main and secondary coils now. I'll update with what I find.

Maybe a intermittent high limit fuse problem? The heat should go on & off during the whole cycle. Are you sure this is not the issue? Gene. This is electric dryer and it does not have gas valve coils.

Gene. Gene, It's a Whirlpool LGR4634JQ0. As an update, I've replaced the main and secondary coils and now the dryer heats consistently through the cycles. The burner unit was not easy to get at and I had to remove the tub, but managed to get it all back together again. Thanks everyone for your help. This is a great resource! Regards, Lee

You are welcome Lee. I'm glad you were able to fix it. Good job!
Thank you for the feed back.
