ge side by side no cooling on either freezer side or refrig side air is blowing into freezerside condensor fan is turning compressor is cold i dont have any manuals or schematics.any ideas appreciated ,thanks,narocroc

hi gene,currently not on site of refrigerator .. the model no is actuallyess25xgmbww..will respond more early nest week..i'm not sure if compressor was vibrating or not..if it's not i guess its the compressor..if it is ?then what any ideas? thanks ,narocroc

I do not like any guessing. Post as much as possible descriptions on everything what is going on with the refrigerator and we will go from there.

Check for 120VAC at connector J7-9 orange wire to TERMINAL-J8 black wire at the main control board.

Do you have 120VAC?

If no, replace the main control board.

If yes, the compressor has gone bad. If the refrigerator is less than 5 years old, the compressor can be under the warranty. You have to verify it with GE.

Hi Gene no voltage between j8 black wire and j7 pin 9 orange wire,i'll order the control card part no. AP4436216 thanks again guy..narocroc

Hello Gene sorry for delay .after removing control board(and before ordering a new one) i found a cold solder joint on a componant on back of board(a dark spot0 moving componant resulted in movement of the solder connection an back of board .resoldered connection..frig is 40 degrees at 5 setting frezzer is 0 degrees ar 5 setting ..water and ice work ok . i lucked out i guess ..its been running fine since last post.( cold solder joint was not on any J7 or J8 connector..thanks again for saving me a lot of expense..respectfully, narocroc
