Hello again !!! Had a Tech out yesterday to look at the icemaker he tested it with an ohm meeter in the back and said it was the compressor. But also said its a closed system and that he would have to do a leak check on it to find the leak. Is that a big Deal to do? he also said i should replace all the parts in it evaporator , compressor, etc. to the tune of about $ 700 bucks. Are these things not worth fixing ? It has been working outside in florida since new. So it has had a tough life!! would appreciate your imput..
