Recently this unit started making a loud whining sound during the wash cycle. I got under it with a flashlight and noticed it starting to leak around the motor housing. Rather than play games with this, I decided to order the complete motor and pump assembly, part number AP3778061.
How much of a PITA will this be to replace?

JH If you know how to handle a simple tools, this part is not too difficult to replace yourself. The instructions are attached to the reply. The worst thing is - the dishwasher has to be removed from the cabinet. Gene.
