Have water at bottom of tank- does not drain completely. Approx 3/4 of an inch. Have repaced drain pump assembly and control module , and all lines seem clear. The question is: can I somehow extend the drain time cycle? If it drain a few seconds more the water would pump out. There is no timer on this module, have replaced control module (100 dollars). Is it preprogrammed to shut off at a certain interval? What makes the machine stop the drain function?

Every single time interval is programmed into the chip in the control board. There is no way to reprogram it. Have you checked the valve flapper (#328 on the diagram)? Where is the dishwasher drain hose connected to? Gene.

Gene I reused the one that was there and made sure it was facing the right direction. I didn't clean the item, it seemed ok. I am going to take the machine apart again and clean it this time as I recheck all lines for maybe some buildup I might have missed. Thanks for your reply. To the question on where the drain line is connected. Double sink-to a drain connector on the small bowl, fairly high from the bottom. It's a shame there is no time cycle control.

That flapper is less than $5 and it's better to replace it. It is very important how the drain hose is routing from the dishwasher to the drain connection. The best way is to install the air gap. Read what it says in the Installation instructions. - The flapper Part number: AP3419048
