I just bought a house with a Tappan model 61 1134 dishwasher and leaks at bottom of door. The unit looks like new and seems to work fine.Door seal around top and sides looks as good as new.It does not leak until it goes into the rinse cycle.Any ideas?

Mark,

Open the door, as soon as it will start to leak, and check for suds (bubbles) inside.

when I ran it last there were sudds oozing out the bottom of the door.using electrosol 3 in 1 tablets.I did notice there was rinse aid in the dispenser also.Do you think this combo is causing the problem?

An excessive amount of a rinse aid will definitely create suds, causing a leak through the door. The same result can be if you manually rinse dishes before load them in the dishwasher, using a dishwash soap.
