Make sure the ice maker "on-off" switch on the right side is in "on" position. Open the freezer door, press in the emitter flapper door (on the left side) to unblock the optics beam and view the diagnostics "status" LED on the right side.

If it flashes then the optic boards have to be replaced.

Make sure the temperature in the freezer is about 0°F.

Pull the ice maker out, but do not unplug it. Remove the ice maker head cover and check for 120VAC between "N" & "L" test points. Make sure the test probes are 1/2" in.

If there is 120VAC then using an insulated piece of wire (14 GA), short points "T" & "H" to run the motor. Leave the jumper in for a half of a revolution and remove it. The water valve should be energized in the last half of the revolution.

Post the results.

Checked points N , L and did not read any power beteween the two but then jumped out T , H and Ice maker went through a cycle filled up with water. I then disconnected the power for a few seconds and then re-connected power then opened door and led blinked 3 times.

Looks like the ice maker itself is bad.
