I have took apart the washer drum, I'm going to replace the tub seal and the tub bearing. Please tell me if I can change the tub bearing without having to pull the whole thing and transmission to replace it. I guess what I'm trying to say is, does the tub bearing go under the tub seal on the top side of drum. or does it go on the bottomside of the drum?

It would have been easier to just replace the transmission as you get the new bearings and tub seal, but anyway, I am assuming you have the tub assembly out of the washer cabinet, so you must turn the whole assembly upside down, remove the belt pully, and then replace your bearings that way. Did you get the instructions with the bearing kit?
