I don't have the means to test which parts are not working. Which part (e.g., thermostat, heater sub-assembly) fails most frequently? Many thanks

Check your house ducting for a clog, clean if necessary. Pull the heater out and check if is broken. Check the house breaker, if ok check the power wiring to the dryer for burnt wires. Next, short the two thermal limiters mounted on the heater housing one at a time to see which one is bad that causes a lack of heat.
