Greetings,
just received a replacement dual water inlet solenoid the smaller plastic water tube fits perfect, but the larger diameter plastic hose will not fit into the inlet it appears tapered at the bottom of inlet. the existing solenoid is also a previous replacement from several years ago, dont know how to make it fit or is incorrect part? think it is 5/16 not sure, any suggestions,

Using a very sharp knife, try to cut about 1/2" of that tube.
