I do heating & air work, but I have a friend with a Kitchenaid refrigerator. The ice dispenser door has been hanging open after use. He searched the part numbers, and I got him the parts at Fox Appliance Parts. He asked me how to remove the front facade to get to the parts, but I have no experience in that brand/model. I have worked on my own Whirlpool by removing two screws at the bottom, but this one is flush to the door. A counter man at Fox suggested to use a flat spatula and gently pry out the cover to expose the parts. He tried without success and doesn't want to break it. Can you help with any more advice? Thanks.

Can you provide a model number for this specific refrigerator? You shouldn't try to pry it off from the front, instead try looking on the inside of the door; the screws to remove the front plate might be located there. If all else fails you can try calling customer service and see if they will help out. 1-800-334-6889
