When I cook bacon, the burner has to be turned way down, and the bacon still almost burns in the front of the pan, while the strips in the back of the pan cook much slower.

Is there something wrong with the burner (Electric) or is there something wrong with the control, or is the pan not heating evenly? It is a new pan.:confused:
