I purchased the pump/motor combination to repair this dishwasher and began to install it and found that the thermister on the old unit is not large enough to fit in the hole provided in the new pump. The existing thermister is approximately 1/2" in diameter and the hole in the new pump housing is 1". I have verified that I have the correct part number for the pump/motor and also checked on a new thermister. The new thermister is the same size as the old one and still will not fit into the hole provided with the new pump. Can anyone help with this matter?
