This built-in Whirlpool gas wall oven model #SB160PEXQ1 was installed around 1993. We just moved in and understood it worked fine, but it doesn't.

The clock and clock display work fine. There are never any error codes or strange characters.

I've flipped the breaker off and then back on.

I push bake or broil and then turn the temperature knob to the desired setting. Adjacent to the clock time the display will show the oven settings I selected and the word "ON" appears, but then the settings and "ON" disappear in about two seconds so that only the clock time remains displayed.

I have pulled wall oven out and tested contunity of T.O.D. contunity there so then i suspect saftey valve or control board???? Please any leads or advice will be greatly appreciated.
