I put the washer in the pause mode. When I went to start the washer, it wouldn't start. Message 'do' and 'fl' kept appearing when I tried to start the washer. Tried shutting it off, and unplugging it. Did this several times. Left it alone for an hour or so, and tried again, still nothing. The door locked light was never on when the 'do' message appeared.
We have not tried to take the door off, but to no avail. How do you get the door to unlock when the door won't open? Or could clothes be stuck in there somehow?j
Any suggestions.
Thanks you.

Remove the top left soap dispenser and pull on the nylon cord, this should open the door. If the washer will not lock the door, you probably have a blown control board in back of the control panel. Also, replace the wax motor and put a 1000 joule surge protector on the wall outlet
