Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/17/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		I have an Admiral Dryer that will not start when button is pushed, it just makes a rattling or growling sound. It is not the Door Switch or the Timer switch. Any ideas? Thanks

Get some to help you by having them push the start knob while you hold in the door switch and turn the drum. If it starts up it is almost definitely the motor, and probably time to get a new dryer.
