I replaced the drain pump on my washer with a redesigned pump (original design no longer available according to various sources) due to debris ($3.75 in change)getting sucked in it and breaking off the impeller vanes, but now the timer runs to the end of the wash cycle, drains the tub and just stops and buzzes, won't advance into rinse cycle. Did I miss something in the pump replacement or di I now have a bad timer?? Any help is Greatly appreciated!

Sounds as if the water coming to the machine may not be working. start your machine and change water temps to make sure both hot and cold water flow through the machine
