Dryer has been squealing today and noticed drum not rotating like it should, seems to be dragging. Belt has never been replaced. It appears that the tension pulley may have sepearted from the end cap, but not sure as I am not sure if these two pieces stay together

Typically a problem on these models is the rear bearing, but open it up and you should be able to see the problem.

To open it, take out the screws inside the top of the door jamb that hold the top on and take the top off. You can now take off the front, and disconnect the door/light wires to get the front free. Reach inside and release the belt tension and the drum should come out.
