Our GE top load washer (about 15 years old) seems to have problems with certain gears. First it started with it needing to be reset every time it was on the Slow cycle (buzz and not do anything). Now at other speeds when it is on the wash cycle (always at 6 minutes) it agitates partially with a clicking sound and the lights in the entire house flash in sync. I'm worried since it is an older house that it'll cause an electrical fire with a surge in the wiring, but we have to young children and the laundry is piling up!
