Oven will not heat up to desired setting. I set it to 350 but the thermomiter i placed in the center only registers 150. when set to 500, it only registers 275. the glow plug ignites burner within seconds. the digital readout shows the oven heating up to the desired setting and burner cuts of when it reaches the setting. any help would be appriciated.

Open the control panel. Locate the oven sensor two wires and measure the sensor resistance. It suppose to be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature.

If the reading is right then replace the control board (aka clock).

If the reading is out of ± 10% range then remove the oven and measure the sensor resistance at the sensor plug on the back of the oven.

If the reading is wrong then replace the oven sensor.

If the reading is within the range then check the sensor wire harness, eliminate the sensor plug and hardwire the sensor, using a high temperature porcelain wire nuts (included with the new sensor).

- The part number for the clock is AP3156068

- The part number for the oven sensor is AP2023670
