See my reply to similar problem on this site Local shop recommends FSP Modul-SPK RA bar code 4454392 replacement. Looks like a big job given limited under counter space.

You can use a spark module made by Maytag as replacement part instead of original one made by Whirlpool and save more than $20. It looks a little bit different but electrically it's the same. - The part number for the spark module made by Whirlpool is AP2994560 - The part number for the spark module made by Maytag is AP3990137 Gene.

Can I use the ignighter described and supplied by local shop? Removal from countertop will require reseal. Can it be done from bottom? Thanks for help. rwalton

Why it is igniter now? What is wrong with it? Gene.
