Hello
My Maytag stack washer does not go into the wash cycle--it does go into the spin cycle. The last time i had this problem,I put in a new fill valve and a new timer in Jan. Today I cleaned/sprayed all wire connections on the distrubutor type cap on the top left of the washer cabinet but it still does not work.
I put in new timer/fill valve in Jan.10,2010 and it did not work..then i found a bad connection on the distributor type cap and cleaned and filed the wire connections and it worked fine.
Are there any other connections that would cause this problem.Can I clean anything else?
Any ideas on what the problem is and what the solution is.
