I have a maytag ref. the ice maker in it does not work. i bought the ref. used. I have checked the line voltage at the connector for the ice maker and it is not present. I was woundering if there is some rest button for the ice maker. I am not sure if the 115 volt is present at the connector all the time any help would be greatful. i do not want to buy a new ice maker if it is a problem with the ref. Thanks Magician 59 there is an inline fuse to the ice maker. This fuse is on the ice maker connector. Idid check the fuse for conninuty it was good. With this connector disconected I still do not have 115 volts at connector on the ref. did not see any reset on the ref. have wiring diagram but no info on if voltage should be at connector all the time.

Here's a wiring diagram. There appears to be an inline fuse (upper right hand corner) associated with the harness connector to the icemaker. I can't tell whether it's on the refrig side, or the icemaker side; but you might check there for continuity (Unplug the machine, first)
