Everytime I try to take ice from my fridge the Agitator would fall off the cap - helix I push it back in and it falls out again. The cap seems to be normal. Do I need to replace the Agitator or is there more to it?

Dannie,

There is more to it that just the agitator and drive cap.

Check the ice bin itself for cracks especially the front area (where the ice exits the bin, and the back area where the drive cap is located.

You may need to dismantle the front of the ice bin, and check for damaged chopper blades and worn out spacers on the agitatot shaft assembly.

You also want to check the ice bin auger motor fork and assembly, make sure the fork and the body of the motor drive housing are parralel with the back wall(the fork should not be at an angle).

Hope this helps,

Good Luck,
