My timer knob does not move when I dry on electronic sensor, but it does move when I use the timed part of the knob. I looked to the right of the timer from the back of the machine and there is no moisture sensor, only an empty hole for something to be inserted, but there is nothing there. Am I missing something? I took the timer out and there are wired terminals attached to it on two sides. These are white plastic connectors. They don't look like the moisture sensor. Does my model have a moisture sensor? If the entire piece is missing and I order the part, what will it connect it into? If I am missing the piece it connects to, where do I get that? Further more, I don't know where the wires would connect to it or where the wires are. All the wires seem fully connected. Please advise. Thanks.

I realize that I may need the electronic control board, but I was trying to rule out the less expensive moisture sensor. Please tell me whether my Kitchen Aid model is supposed to have one. Thanks. KGYS750GQ1
