My side-by-side Maytag has a non-stop leak. The leak is happening below the fridge, creating a pool of water in the front of the fridge in front of the two doors. It began as an occassional overnight occurance. Happened mostly in the winter, now it's become a non-stop continuous leak. Does anyone have any information on this/

There should be a drip pan underneath the unit. It's purpose is to catch water when the freezer self defrost. Check and make sure the pan has not been moved out of it's place. Make sure this pan is not cracked. It is made of plastic. Hope this helps. thebates539

do you have ice on the floor of your freezer? if so, you have a clogged defrost drain. if no ice on freezer floor, its possible the pan has shifted. its likely however there is a problem with the water system. check underneath, both in front and in back, remove the toe plate, and the machine compartment cover in back. check for any water dripping..what do you see?
