The dishwasher drains in every cycle except the last cycle. When the wash and drying cycles are complete, there is water left in the tub just below the heating element. However, the dishes are clean and dry.

All of the other cycles, the water drains. When we do rinse and hold, the tub is empty at the end of the cycle.

What is your recommendation?

You might check to make sure there are no kinks or other restriction in your drain hose; but the problem you describe makes me think you have a control board issue.

there are no crinks in the drain line. It probably is a control board issue.

Can I just replace the entire control board?

all of the other cycles drain except for the last cycle
