Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/5/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		The agitator turns fine, but the tub will not turn, and it's making an awful noise because the trans is trying to turn the tub, but it won't budge. I tried to move it with my hand, and it won't budge, like it's locked up. I propped it up and the transmission is also leaking some oil. Should I bother trying to fix it? Is it the transmission, or maybe the tub bearings?:confused:

If ok, pull off outer case,remove the pump and motor and try to turn the tranny coupler clockwise. If it will not turn, you probably have stuck brake shoes. Post results.
