I recently burnt out me heater coil and have replaced it with a new one... of... still not working. Can anyone tell me what else in line could have burnt out along with the coil? ie thermostat maybe??? Thanks

All the thermostats, the thermal fuse, the door switch, timer, and the heater element are wired in series. If any one, or a combination of more than one, of these is open, you'll have no heat. Another trick that can be played on you with an electric dryer is that one half of your breaker can trip, leaving some parts of the dryer still in operation, but the other circuit will be off. Flip the breaker off then on a couple times, and see if it works.

Is there a semi hidden inline fuse on this dryer??? There is another what looks like a thermostat in the end of the exhaust tube... could this thermostat be toast??? If it is burnt out would it stop the coil from engaging?
