I have a ge profile harmony. after it starts drying it makes a weird noise then the air flow and heat stops but still turns. After a while it makes the noise again and the air flow and heat is back again. What could it be and how could it be fixed.

My dryer is also doing this. I didn't want to hijack your post so I started my own thread.
It may help to look at the built in diagnostics first:

Power it up
Hit "Help" button
hold "My Cycle" and "Back" buttons at the same time until your message comes up
It may take a few seconds.

Post back with what you find and we will compare notes!
