My dryer has a gap {about a quarter of an inch} around the outside edge of the drum just inside the door. My clothes sometimes gets stuck in the gap and it leaves a brown stain on them. It's about 10 years old, {the dryer} is it worth repairing if it can be ? Thanks , Barry

It can be repaired, all it needs is new felt. Cheapest way is doing it yourself, for a repair company you would be looking at about $250 to fix
