Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/29/2008(UTC) Posts: 3		Hi, I just bought this Ref/Freezer used and it worked fine for about a month then seemed to have problems. The freezer only freezes at the bottom and the refrigerator temp does not get very cold. I took the inside panel off at the urging of a co-worker that has an appliance repair shop to see if the defrost unit was stuck (although he wasn't clear on how to tell). I noticed the coils had frost on them much as the problem I had with my HVAC a few years ago. I also noticed that the freezer fan was not turning at all. Could this be the problem I have read about on this forum where the freezer fan is not circulating the air or is replacing the thermostat a better approach? Thanks,

It gave a few sluggish attemts and then stopped completely. Diagnosis: something is definetely wrong with it. Off to the parts store. Thank goodness they even have a parts listing along with the schematic clearly posted on the back. Thanks for your confirmation and help! These forums are great resources.
