Our Jenn air range heating element caught fire. The clock would not work. We replaced the heating element. We then replaced the control panel (clock). The broiler is stuck in the on position. Any ideas?

I would make sure that you hooked up the broil wire on the control panel correctly. I know some brands mark them NO for normally open, and NC for normally closed. If the wire is hooked to NC spot it will be on constantly. also make sure the wires on the new element are not touching the frame of the oven, this will cause it also...
