I have whirlpool 6th sense frost control refrigerator. at the top of the refrigerator, it has one indicator light to differentiate the defrost mode and normal mode. red color indicates defrost mode and green color indicates normal mode. but for the past 6 months, indicator is blinking with red color. it doesn't operate the defrost mode. I manually use the another button which is provided for manual defrosting to defrost the ice cubes. I couldn't know the exact problem and how to rectify the problem. does this problem cause any damage. because the normal operations are very well except that blinking. It doesn't glow green light also. I mean always blinking with red light.
