Does anyone know where one can get real Whirlpool elec range drip bowls? I've tried ordering from two different on-line companies now and they send me generic parts that I can get at Loews or Home Depot, but they don't fit. This Whirlpool has drip-bowls and trim-rings for two 6" and two 8" elements. I was able to get 6" diameter bowls and rings that were EXACT replacements from A-1 Appliance Parts. However, the 8" bowls and rings lacked a critical cut-out on the horizontal portion of the bowl's lip at about the 6 o'clock position (assuming the element connector is at 12 o'clock). Appliance Parts Pro said they had Whirlpool parts and the picture they showed on-line was the correct bowl, but the parts they sent me were the same generic replacements from FSP that lack the cut-out. The rings did have the cut-outs, but the bowls didn't. Without the cut-out the bowl and ring will not lie flat on the range top, because a spring clip that holds the element in place is in the way.
