Where is this "donut" connected to?

This mounts on the thermostat and heats up the thermostat to make it shut down faster for delicate and perma press on some dryers. It does not read and is not a fuse or a diode. It is a bias heater. SublimeMasterJW attached the following image(s):

The resistor we are talking about should be connected to the timer and it should locate next to the timer.

The donut is attached to the start switch. The reason I am wondering if this is the timer resistor is that it looks like the one in the diagram on the Sears web site. The Sears site is not responding right now, so I can't paste a copy of it.
I cannot see anything looking remotely like a resistor near the timer.

Rick,
Check for the wiring diagram inside the control panel and post it on the forum. If there is no one then you can order it from Sears. Part number for the wiring diagram is 3394594

A few weeks ago I got a resistor and replaced the donut with it. The dryer works fine now. Thanks for all your assistance!
