I have a Frigidaire Oven that will not turn on. I think it is the electronic clock oven part, but want to confirm before I order
Thanks John

If you're getting power to the clock, and not from it, replace the clock.

Thanks John John, Check for 120 VAC to the oven igniter while the control calls for Bake. If there is proper voltage, replace the igniter. If there is no proper voltage, then check the gas safety valve for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the gas safety valve. If there is continuity, replace the control board. You may want to order the overlay as well because it's glued to the control board. - The igniter Part number: AP3963555

Thanks Gene, I had the same problem. I pulled the igniter, checked the violatge when I turned the oven on. The volts registered 120. Now I know the igniter is bad. I have another question. Is it safe to leave the oven with out the pipe that holds the igniter, while I wait for the part? If my wife forgets and hits bake, I am assuming the gas cut off will stop any gas from escaping. Any sugestions?
