I apologize if this is a redundant post. My electric dryer is drying very slow on the high temp setting. I've cleaned the lint from the vent and the back of the machine.
With no clothes in the dryer and pulled away from the wall, it is cycling between 165 down to 122 and then back up again.
Is this the normal range? From what I can find it looks to be, but I have seen thermostats that go up to 250 deg so I'm not sure.
If not, can which thermostat would need replaced?
Thanks! Rob

Here is your thermostat Part number: AP3131939
Click on the picture for more info, as you can see the temperatures you see are close to the thermostat's setpoints. When you disconnected the unit from the vent system did the clothes fry quicker? Usually long dry times are a clogged vent system or the outside vent louvers are not opening fully. |
