I just bought a new Maytag double electric wall oven, and I'm installing it myself. There's no problem with the installation, except that I can't figure out how to get the doors back on. Isn't that ridiculous? The hinges look like this: http://www.rcappliancepartsimag...es/00000068/00018969.jpg. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks, Aaron

************************.com solved it for me! Turns out, Maytag omitted a Very Important Step when removing the door, without which it can't be reinstalled. For the benefit of anyone searching for this - before you take the door off, you need to put a nail into the little hole in the hinges to prevent them from closing all the way. If you do this, you can then follow the reinstallation instructions and they'll work fine. If you don't, you're screwed.
Thanks to ************************.com for finding the answer (for free!)

Thanks so much Aaron .... your suggestions works. After too many :mad:conversations with the Maytag Customer Service Personnel (which they knew absolutely NOTHING) I found this formum and within a matter of minutes used the suggestion and success. It almost cost me a service call for between ($60-75) to have it done. Do not know why MAYTAG can not be customer friendly. Thanks Again:)

Three and a half years later and the instructions still haven't been updated! There is no excuse for Maytag to let this issue continue to screw their customers! Anybody know how I'm supposed to get the doors back on? ??
