Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/13/2010(UTC) Posts: 2		My Bosch SMU4056 dishwasher will not start. I confirmed that it has 110V at the ON/OFF switch. However, the voltage to the ON/OFF switch is only present when the door is open. When the door comes within about four inches to closing then the power to the ON/OFF switch turns off. The door latch is not even close to being engaged when the power turns off. I have the wiring diagram for this model from AppliancePartsPros.com but I do not see a switch that would turn off the power when the door is partially closed. Suggestions?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/13/2010(UTC) Posts: 2		Problem was intermittently broken power wire in the wire harness - the wire became disconnected whenever the wire harness was stretched by closing the door.
