The freezer was not keeping ice cubes frozen, and the fridge seemed to be warmer than usual. I turned up temp control dials with no noticeable result. Then I vacuumed out lots of hair and lint from the back of the appliance. The next morning ice cubes were still not frozen.

I noticed frost on the back panel inside the freezer, removed it and found that area behind the panel full of frost everywhere. I started to defrost it with a hair dryer for a couple of minutes and decided to go do more research instead. Prior to this, the little fan in the back near the condenser had been running and the fan would run when I opened the freezer door. Now I come back and those fans aren't running.

What next? Thanks in advance!
